Alex + Zohar's Wedding Rings
14k Yellow Gold His + His Hand-Carved Wedding Bands with 7 Symbols
It all started when...
Alex's parents had wedding bands custom made in 1976 with raised symbols going around the band. He and Zohar decided they wanted their own version of those rings made, with 7 symbols on each ring (the same on each) that would represent their relationship: 2 Pine Trees, 2 Birds, a Wave, a House, and a Fire. The pine trees symbolize the couple growing together. The birds represent the couple's aspirations and journeys they will take together. The wave represents changes in emotions and feelings, but also their consistency. The house symbolizes the house they build together, which is also a big Jewish wedding symbol. And the fire is an old cowboy symbol for community (literally people gathered around a fire) since they are only a couple with all this great support from people they love around them. As a final note, Zohar liked that they had an earth (trees), fire, water, and air (birds) motif going since he loves Avatar the cartoon. "So we're not all serious." See Instagram Post Here
